Turning Up The Heat: My Plans for the Next "Savage Peaks" Book.

First off, I just have to say a massive thank you. Coming back to publishing after a five-year hiatus was terrifying. But the love you have shown for Savage Peaks has completely blown my mind. You really are the absolute best readers in the world.

I want to talk a little bit about the spice in that book. Writing the eight sex scenes for Savage Peaks was incredibly fun. My goal for the first book in the Savage Peaks series was pure, unfiltered heat. I wanted the passion to be fast, intense, and aggressively dominant. It felt so damn good to let loose and write exactly what I wanted.

But as I sit out here outlining and drafting the next books in the series, I am realizing something. My approach is shifting a little bit. I am falling so hard for these new characters, and I want to give their intimate moments even more space to breathe.

So, I have made a decision. The sex scenes in the upcoming books are going to be longer, deeper, and much more sensual.

Do not panic, because the unapologetic heat you expect from me is absolutely staying. I am just going to spend more time building that irresistible tension. You can expect a richer emotional connection and a lot more teasing before the clothes finally hit the floor (and trust me, they are definitely still going to hit the floor).

I am so excited to share these new stories with you. I better get back to writing, assuming Ursula ever moves off my lap.
